Hey look, another Breakout clone. Did we really need one of those? I didn’t think so either, but it turns out maybe I was wrong. Normally I struggle through a few levels so I can say that I’ve played enough to write my review… BUT
3D Brick Breaker Revolution 2 ($1.99; FREE)

In the case of 3D Brick Breaker Revolution 2 I’ve already played 20+ levels in Classic mode (some more than once) and 3 level sets in Revolution mode, and I’m actually not bored yet. I’m still not eager to run out and buy every Breakout clone that I can get my hands on, but if developers do decide they need to continue making such games, I hope they take a serious look at this one as a good example of what to do right.

**UPDATED: See gameplay section**
I seriously doubt One Man Left will have “one man left” in terms of fans after this game. I’m thinking they’ll only grow multitudes…
Tilt To Live ($1.99)

Doodle Jump is the last game to roll tilt controls and addiction onto one. With One Man Left’s first foray into the iPhone, I can’t help myself to use the word tilt but I’m going for “crack” instead of addiction this time. It’s that good!

I’m not quite sure why someone would call their game “horrible” when it’s actually quite good, regardless, take a look!
The Horrible Vikings ($1.99)

We’ve all seen dozens of iterations of catapulting objects and characters to go the furthest or collect the most powerups. We weren’t expecting much with this game but we’re blown away at the end of it all!

**WIN A COPY FOR FREE! See After Jump**
During the previews for this game, Nimblebit promised this will be the missing link between Koi Pond and Doodle Jump, did they deliver?
Dizzypad ($1.99)

Why ABSOLUTELY YES?! Let me tone down my excitement for this game a bit to deliver a cohesive review for you guys. Dizzypad LOOKS easy but it’s challenging in itself and challenging to put down, it’s that addicting!

So what happens when Peter Parker retires and gets lazy and overweight? Why, he becomes a Rope Raider, of course! Okay, I’m just kidding, but I had to come up with some reason for this game.
Rope Raider ($1.99)

I’m a firm believer that some games don’t need a backstory or explanation, but that’s usually because they’re so enjoyable that it doesn’t really matter. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for Rope Raider. When you’re swinging through a cityscape to thwart bad guys in a spider costume it can be rather entertaining. When you’re doing it simply to see how far you can get and to collect coins, it ends up being rather dull.

Sure there are enough games to occupy our free time just by looking around, but in some cases, we’d have to stretch far out, even beyond Earth…
Space Miner: Space Ore Bust ($1.99 - On Sale)

Space Miner is a very strong first iPhone showing by Venan Entertainment. It successfully combines RPG elements, great graphics, humor and addicting gameplay onto one game on a fast track in becoming a new iPhone classic.

Namco obviously did something right with Dig Dug as years later, similar type games are still getting developed… most of them are good!
Mole - Quest For Terracore Gem ($1.99)

“Using the touch screen to direct Mark through the earth. Mole is a new; fresh take on the classic digging game genre. Every dig is a new adventure as you use your brain and fingertips to guide Mark to wealth.”

So James told me to download this game because it was the bombsauce and very addicting. To my surprise it wasn’t bad.
Bird Strike ($1.99)

Bird strike, which is developed by PikPok, takes a similar route to DoodleJump and Papi Jump except there really isn’t a “jump” action in the game. The graphics are executed nicely and the sound is amusing. But can it compete with the rest of these “height challenge games”?

Who doesn’t like a good ol nasty horror fest film? By the tremendous success of Paranormal Activity, I think the answer is ALL OF US!
Fallen EP-1 ($1.99 - On Sale)

Fallen is the beginning of what we think is an epic action game which is SERIOUSLY NOT for the faint of heart. It’s so nasty and gritty it compares to those ultimately gory movies (like SAW) to make up one thrilling game!
