Alice in Wonderland, the iPhone game is quite frankly a Disney masterpiece. Disney Studios created a lush, detailed graphic Puzzle/Platformer based on the movie already released here in the US. After this game, Disney’s dedication to iPhone gaming!
To be perfectly direct and clear, the graphics on this game are pretty much Gameloftquality but somehow stricken with a couple of bugs make up for a weird experience. With a couple of tweaks, this can be a Skater Nation threat.
When I saw the icon, I thought to myself, when does the Olympics start up?? I mean seriously, doesn’t it look like a mascot for the summer games? All kidding aside, my biggest fear with any mahjong tile game is the visibility and playability. This one does a knockout job when both the graphics AND game play.
Sure there are quite a few scenes where you have to find objects. However, the bulk of the game revolves around puzzles and mini games. Through in a clichéd yet compelling story, awesome artwork and pretty decent computer acting, and you’ve got one slick detective game for your iPhone.
I’ve seen a lot of cooking games both in the iPhone and console gaming worlds, but of course Gameloft had to do their version and thank the lord they did!
Gameloft’s taking on the cooking game genre is almost a literal application of the words “cooking” and “game” so much so that this should be called “cooking simulation”. They’ve replaced Cooking Mama’s cartoonic graphics and went for the jugular with 3D graphics that’ll have you foaming at the mouth.
Brain Challenge 2 is the sequel to their (arguably) hit brain exercise app released way back in 2008. With a couple new levels and the same formula that made the first one special, I think this is a safe buy.
After the Family Guy mini game debauchery. I was a skeptic! As a fan of most most cartoon that lean towards the edge, The Simpsons are always one to watch.
Join Homer in a drooling pursuit of frosted fried dough. Dodge sinister Springfield forces with touchscreen controls. Get help from Marge, Maggie, Lisa & Bart with “Family Frenzy” power-ups. Race through 25+ levels in 6 environments and run into other favorite characters. Mini-games, plus real voices and sounds add a touch more deliciousness, too.
If FarmVille made farming cool and digitally playable for this generation, there was there little game a few years ago that made paper delivery, really cool! Check out Elite Systems Ltd’s port of the famous classic game. How good is it (if at all)?
It’s no question the iPhone has been the go-to new home for the best classic games, from like whenever, but does this game offer enough “new-ness” to the table. I frankly believe it does while at the same tie maintains everything FUN the original had.
According to the movie Forrest Gump, ‘Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your gonna get.’ Luckily for those with The Game of Life you can choose your path in life, from a big career to having a family. Its all in your hands.
I have never heard of a board game called The Game of Life, but after playing this game I am really tempted to go and find one. Basically the Game of Life is an adventure board game where you have to travel from a starting point to the end point in the game.
