Apple Isn’t Acquiring Waze Anytime Soon
January 7th, 2013 Daniel Silva Initially, TechCrunch reported that Apple was interested in purchasing social turn-by-turn navigation company: Waze. The report suggested Apple was offering about $400 million plus an additional $100 million in incentive, but that Waze was holding out. TechCrunch’s MG Siegler is now reporting that there is no deal in sight for the time being.

January 3rd, 2013 Daniel Silva Stirring the rumor pot, DigiTimes is reporting that contrary to belief that Apple will be moving the Mac Pro to U.S production, it will instead be the Mac mini. The report states that Foxconn already has about 15 operating bases in the U.S, and plans to recruit workers in 2013 for new automated production lines.
Apple Working With Intel On Smart Watch: Here’s Your Pebble Watch Competition

The watch, according to the report, would launch in the first half of next year. It would include a 1.5-inch OLED display from RITEK subsidiary RiTdisplay, and perhaps use Siri for greater integration with the iPhone.
