While I liked the artwork, I wasn’t a real big fan of Crazy Penguin Catapult, and I never tried the sequel. Crazy Penguin Party looked like it might be different, though….
Crazy Penguin Party ($0.99; FREE)
Sure it was in the same “universe”, but it was a collection of party games featuring everyone’s favorite cartoon penguins. As it turns out, the game is actually pretty fun. I think it would be a lot more enjoyable as a true party game played against friends you love to taunt, but since I have to suffice with my own presence (and I’m not about to sit and taunt myself) I still managed to find it rather enjoyable. Now if only the computer would stop cheating…

Hey look, another Breakout clone. Did we really need one of those? I didn’t think so either, but it turns out maybe I was wrong. Normally I struggle through a few levels so I can say that I’ve played enough to write my review… BUT
3D Brick Breaker Revolution 2 ($1.99; FREE)
In the case of 3D Brick Breaker Revolution 2 I’ve already played 20+ levels in Classic mode (some more than once) and 3 level sets in Revolution mode, and I’m actually not bored yet. I’m still not eager to run out and buy every Breakout clone that I can get my hands on, but if developers do decide they need to continue making such games, I hope they take a serious look at this one as a good example of what to do right.

With as much as people love to shop, you’d almost think there’d be more games on the subject. After playing Shopping Madness, I can understand why there aren’t.
Shopping Madness ($0.99; FREE)
I suppose this game is supposed to simulate the frenzy of shopping during a big sale or holiday event or something, but it’s honestly a bit on the boring side. The visual and audio are decent, but there’s really not enough game play to back it up.

Digital Chocolate has been successful so far in bringing casual iPhone games for the platform. Can they continue their streak with this one?
Super Water Bomber ($0.99; Free)
Apparently Digital Chocolate thought it would be interesting to take the “scorched earth” concept and paste a “defeat the bullies” theme on it, and thus the game Super Water Bomber was born. At times the game is actually somewhat interesting, but while the level designs are thankfully pretty varied, the actual execution seems pretty redundant between levels. The atmosphere is fun, the visuals are decent and the audio is good, but the overall package is mostly forgettable.

Digital Chocolate games’ graphics tend to be on the “cute” side. This game’s an exception and don’t pass on it!
Fantasy Warrior: Good & Evil ($2.99)
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Fantasy Warrior, since one tends not to expect “cute” from an RPG. While there is definitely a cute factor - especially in terms of visuals – and there is certainly a bias towards casuall gamers, Fantasy Warriors is and provides a satisfying RPG experience.

If you’ve played 3D Rollercoaster Rush, you’ll feel right at home here.
Jurassic 3D Rollercoaster Rush ($4.99; FREE)
Technically, this a reskinning of their 3D Rollercoaster Rush game. I guess it depends on how willing you are to admit that $5 is still a good bargain for a game, even if it’s “high” for App Store standards.
I personally enjoy the theme more for Jurassic Rush, so if you don’t have either game, I’d start with this one.
