When I saw the icon, I thought to myself, when does the Olympics start up?? I mean seriously, doesn’t it look like a mascot for the summer games? All kidding aside, my biggest fear with any mahjong tile game is the visibility and playability. This one does a knockout job when both the graphics AND game play.
Looky what we got here… It seems that iPhone developers are now stepping up on creating trailers for their upcoming games that calling them trailers doesn’t cut it anymore. Checkout FDG Entertainment’s commercial for Across Age:
The player steps into the role of 2 switchable characters: swordsman Ales and magician Ceska, each with own fighting and special skills that are needed to solve tricky puzzles and successfully battle fierce monsters.
This cooperative element is one of the key features of the game. Another key feature is the possibility to travel through time and revisit places, enabling exciting events and riddles.
The iPhone has had its share of a few great RPGs in the past in Inotia and Zenonia. FDG Entertainment is hoping you’d have room for one more in their upcoming RPG venture Across Age!

Looks like Apple is hurrying up and releasing as many updates as they can before the long weekend. We’ve heard quite a few gripes from developers, and it seems like they’ve been heard.
This latest update to the app brings us features the users requested and features I personally think add a lot to the game. First off is online scoreboards, and along with this buddy list and buddy challenges (via Scoreloop). It’s a pretty well implemented system.
The rest of the things added are also nice, but are not so important. You can find the whole list here though ;).
