You were the first to know about Gameloft’s upcoming zombie/Resident Evil 5-like game Zombie Infection earlier today. I also promised we’ll get you screens and info. Here they are:
Zombie Infection is a third person shooter in which you can play as Shanna OR Anderson. The story is that your character’s brother gets lost in South Africa and it’s YOUR job to look for him.
As you all well know, GDC 2010 is upon us. Miguel, Phil and I will be getting the latest upcoming iPhone games news and previews for all of you. To celebrate the event, the devs have dropped Mole - Quest For Terracore Gem for FREE:
Mole is a fun twist on the I Dig It concept. Dan liked it, it has some advantages over I Dig It. Although I wouldn’t go as far as say it’s better, Mole is a pretty cool title and should make Dig Dug proud.
While Final Fantasy 1 and 2 just made to the iPhone, our console gamers are already on midnight lines for Final Fantasy XIII. For the iPhone, you really didn’t think FFXIII is coming right? Instead, Final Fantasy XIII Larger Than Life Gallery is:
This digital photo album is bursting at its virtual seams with ultra-high resolution FINAL FANTASY XIII imagery. You won’t find this collection of hi-res artwork in the game or on the official web site. Application includes the function to use your favorite image as a calendar background.
The much previewed arcade shooter from Chillingo and Traplight Games: The Hero ($1.99) finally arrives on the AppStore. It promises “lightning-fast arcade romp that sizzles with comic book style, sassy characters and superhuman gameplay.”
First impressions are actually good as this game offers sophisticated controls, graphics and tons of gameplay dynamics.
Once again, while EA Mobile has developed a special Rock Band iPhone game, I bet that game doesn’t have wacky brains to play with. For an unspecified period of time, Big Brain of Fire is FREE!
Big Brain Of Fire is a totally different approach on music games, where you can play whatever you want on real drums, real guitar’s fret, and even a whole octave of rocking vocal! Every instrument has its own, unique control scheme and highest quality, real sound which will give you an impression of being a real rock star.
While Capcom has already confirmed the existence of Street Fighter 4 iPhone (and releasing this March), news from Pocket Gamer this morning points to Tekken iPhone AND that it will be shown next week at GDC 2010.
HOWEVER, since the Pocket Gamer post went up, a Namco representative told the site that “Tekken won’t be shown during GDC.” Let’s step back for a second here, Pocket Gamer is a highly reputable website and while they’re source is anonymous (and rightfully so), WHY would they fake such a story?
This game’s franchise is one of the most popular around the world. Will it’s first iPhone trek be as successful as the ones before it?

Gameloft isn’t new to porting a lot of great console classics to the iPhone. They now move onto the Rayman world, and though the game remains faithful to the series, some bugs are overpowering the game a bit too much. However…

I seriously doubt One Man Left will have “one man left” in terms of fans after this game. I’m thinking they’ll only grow multitudes…
Doodle Jump is the last game to roll tilt controls and addiction onto one. With One Man Left’s first foray into the iPhone, I can’t help myself to use the word tilt but I’m going for “crack” instead of addiction this time. It’s that good!
We already know Gameloft is a master when it comes to not-so-very revealing teasers (not really). Just today, they’ve posted a new teaser site SamsNewMission.com which possibly means Splinter Cell iPhone:
