It’s A Very Lite World: Vans Skate + Knights Onrush Lites Out!

Now you have ABSOLUTELY no excuse not to check out just one but TWO of the most enjoyable apps in the store. Both Fuel Industries and Chillingo, just released lite version of their most popular apps.

Best news? They’re both FREE!!!

Chillingo: KNIGHTS ONRUSH [Download]

This one is to be reviewed VERY soon. It’s Chillingo and Moregames Entertainment’s take on the Castle Defense genre. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, maybe this game will tell you: iDracula.

Fuel Industries: VANS SK8 Pool Service [Download]

This is possibly the closest thing we get to SKATE for the iPhone… for now. With its rich 3D graphics and multi touch gestures/combos, this one is pretty addictive and enticing. Check out the game on its freeplay mode. The full version comes with tons of levels of varying goals.

WWDC 2009: Lifeboat. Their Hearts Go On!

**NOTE: We are holding on a gameplay video for Lifeboat. When  we get confirmation from Fuel that the video is ok to be public, we’ll update this post**

The adventures in the high seas continues with Fuel Industries’ follow up to VANS SK8 Pool Service: Lifeboat!

We played the game for a couple of minutes, and we’ll tell you this: it’s unique, it’s funny and it’s something we can’t wait to get our hands on.

Vans SK8 Pool Service: Finally! A 3D Skate Game

Without taking credit away from Touchgrind, this next game is all about 3D skating as opposed to fingerboarding. How does this one stack up against console skate games?

Vans SK8 Pool Service ($4.99)

Fuel Industries in association with Vans presents their new game. The expectations are indeed high as they’ve put a tall order before themselves. Did they deliver:  one pool, two characters, more than a dozen multi touch tricks, songs, customizations and rich 3D graphics… hell yes! ^&$(#* Hell YES!

Vans Pool manages to both add depth to the iPhone’s skateboarding genre and fully abuse the console of it’s capacity. If you thought tricks with full 3D animations weren’t possible for the iPhone, you may want to reconsider that thought.
