Any good decent horror movie or movie fan in general should know Dawn of the Dead already. It’s a B movie at the very least but is the iPhone game an A++?
Dawn of the Dead ($1.99)

To be honest, I’ve been “traumatized” by movie tie ins and games not made by Gameloft (did you see how awesome Avatar is?). Much to my surprise, though this dual stick zombie survival game does not reach Avatar’s level, it’s actually pretty good an not bad like some of Warner Brothers’ POS games we’ve seen in store.

With a name like Garters & Ghouls, I half expected a game like the old school Capcom side scrollers staring a knight in lingerie. Thankfully, this is nothing close to that.

Garters & Ghouls ($4.99)
In fact, the unfair way to describe it would be to call it a female version of iDracula. I say unfair because the reality is that this is much more than iDracula. It actually has a story and a point to it. There I said it. Now let me expound on it before you decide to lynch me.

These monsters are certainly killing my free time…

MonsterKill ($0.99)
I always wonder how developers can make a game in a certain genre different enough to be worth giving a try. Then a game like Monster Kill comes along to answer my question.
It’s “castle defense” with a movie monster theme, and it’s actually quite amusing. Unfortunately, dodgy controls mire what would otherwise be a pretty enjoyable experience.
