Pool Pro Online 3: Released And GREAT!, Namco [GDC 2010]

While I know there’s a huge market for Namco’s retro titles, I’ve always wished they’d start busting some developing chops for new and more mass friendly games. Pool Pro Online 3 ($4.99) was demo’d to us and boy isn’t it amazing!

The game also serves as Namco’s introduction to the iPhone world of their new social-cross platform network called Unite SDK. Yes the game does feature online multiplayer as well as matches against Android phones (BLECH!), PC and Mac devices.

Stranded: Mysteries of Time iPhone, Glu Mobile [GDC 2010]

Glu Mobile keeps a good catalogue of mobile games outside of the iPhone world so don’t be surprised if they port games from that collection to the iPhone, such as this one. Take a look at the upcoming puzzle game: Stranded: Mysteries of Time iPhone:

Where as the first version of this series on the mobile is very survival driven, Stranded for the iPhone promises to be much more story driven. You start the game being chased with a T-Rex then it’s YOUR task to avoid getting killed.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction iPhone, Gameloft [GDC 2010]

We already told you about Gameloft’s Zombie Infection and now this title. They didn’t allow video but they will be sending us screens later today. The first game they showed is…

360 Art!

360 Art!

You guessed it! Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction iPhone!

The game follows up where Splinter Cell Double Agent left off with the same story as the console version. The game uses a lot of the same features as the console version as well(i.e. Projective objectives, tag and kill, etc.) Gameloft said that this game can be enjoyed by players new to Splinter Cell, and the old school Splinter Cell gamers.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction uses joystick controls and you touch the screen to move the camera view. Conviction feels a lot like Terminator Salvation, maybe that’s because it’s running on Gameloft’s famous engine!
