Bolt Creative has been quiet on the updates zone as of late with the exception of Pocket God Comics. However, they’re latest update “What’s The Story Morning Glory” feels like 3-4 sorta weekly updates into one so it’s all good.

New things: new minigame called Pain Drain, a story mode which lets you customize your own Pocket God stories and lastly, Alien theme purchasable within the app for $0.99. Let’s discuss.

Since we greeted our good ol pygmies from Pocket God when they turned 1, I figured we should greet our green friend as well as Doodle Jump turns 1 Year Old!

Happy Birthday!
Oh what a year it has been for our little green friend since we FIRST covered the game back in June of last year.
It was around the time they did the Pocket God crossover, and the rest was history.

**UPDATED ** David Whatley’s Critical Thought Games has offered the iPhone community with some of the platform’s best games in between the geoDefense series and geoSpark.
Last week at GDC, of course we wanted to talk to him regarding his successes so far and what he’s got in the works…
geoSpark iPad

geoSpark is really one of the best iPhone gaming surprises from the last year. It’s simplicity and design just make for a perfect addicting killer game. At GDC, David revealed the game will have an iPad version.
The game will be formatted for the iPad which means there’ll be bigger sparks due to the device’s size. Though there aren’t exactly completely NEW features, the iPad’s size alone should provide more frantic fun for its players.
geoDefense 2 iPad, iPhone

The original geoDefense to this day remains one of the most challenging tower defense games I’ve ever played. The thought of it running on a bigger screen providing a bigger gameplay is already scaring me. The iPad is everything you’d expect… bigger levels, towers and all that fancy stuff.
