Shortly after releasing the first beta for iOS 4.3, Apple has released beta 2. As usual, the beta is out for all iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch), as well as an updated SDK and AppleTV firmware.
What’s interesting is that the multitasking gestures introduced in beta 1 are gone, and according to Apple won’t be released for the public.
Apple has informed developers that the gestures introduced in beta 1 were just a developer preview. Preview of what’s to come….sound’s interesting.
This feature will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers, but we are providing this preview to gather input on how these gestures work with your apps.
Further proof that the new iPad won’t have a home button? Perhaps, take it as you will.
