The game features Harley, the host of the show, eating all sorts of food. The game’s art style, although cartoon, manages to capture the show and actually turn it into a game.

“Fling delicious unhealthy food at the Sauce Boss to make your score go sky-high but beware of the veggies, having too many will end your game and bring shame on you. There are tons of crazy items and perks to unlock; Hats with god-like powers, new foods and meals, awesome backgrounds, extra lives and more stuff coming soon.”
Presentation
As you play you’ll gain coins, which can be used for a number of things, such as more ridiculously unhealthy food (TURBACONATOR, b*tches), more hats that have specific advantages, more background, including one inspired by non other than Deadmau5. Additional Epic Meal Time members are said to be coming soon.
Controls
The game is pretty simple, but frantic when it comes to controls. Simply drag (or flicking) pieces of meat and other junk food into the character’s mouth, and flicking healthy food (such as vegetables) away from the characters. There are an exceptions, like when you’re trying to eat a turbaconator, which slows down the game and has you tap as fast as you can.
When you first start playing the game, it’ll remind you a bit of Fruit Ninja. As mentioned above, instead of slashing fruit, you’ll be basically throwing food at your target. This can become pretty hectic, especially on the iPad. There, I suggest you use two hands. The core of the game as pretty much explained in the controls section. Just give him all the junk food, and keep the healthy food away from him. Feed him healthy food three times and it’s game over. On top of the core gameplay there’s power-ups. For example, drinking a bottle of Jack Daniels repels the vegetables for a certain time, which pop slows food down. As you play, you’ll gain coins (Internet money) which can be used for cosmetic items. Don’t want to earn coins? Don’t worry, they caught onto the trend. You can buy IAP packs of coins (for example $0.99 for 15,000 coins).
Conclusion
Presentation is the most important part of the game since it’s what makes this game stick out and be true to it’s name: Epic Meal Time. And to that aspect, the game succeeded. I would recommend watching some Epic Meal Time videos if you haven’t already, so you get the jokes, but they did a good job bringing that world to a game. I literally burst out loud the first time I was eating a turbaconator and dubstep started playing. And best of all, it’s surprisingly fun. Perhaps not one for the kids, but I recommend getting it.
